What a joy to photograph Kevin & Joanne’s wedding at Vintage Estate! I feel like there are not many words I can say that will add greatly to the beautiful images you’ll see here. The drop dead gorgeous design from Barbara Llewellyn Catering and Event Planning and the florals by Nancy Liu Chin Design speak for themselves! I love how Kevin and Joanne tied their personality differences and uniqueness into everything…the contrasting colors, navy and pink, and even the wedding logo were a reflection of Joanne’s playful personality and Kevin’s straight forward honesty. My favorite moment of the day HAD to be the First Look. You know we’re suckers for sweet first looks around here! Just before the reveal, Kevin got very quiet. I was worried that something was wrong, but in reality, he was going through an intensely personal and monumental moment–seeing your bride for the first time–and savoring every second of it. Their first moments of seeing each other were so sweet it affected everybody. I turned around to see both Damion AND Lauren Perez, the coordinator from Barbara Llewellyn, crying!! (That pic will require another post!) LOL! It was an intensely beautiful and special moment in time and we are so, so privileged to be able to document life’s unforgettable gifts like this one!
Here is just a snippet of their rehearsal dinner at Brix, as well as the first half of their wedding day, including the first look. Be sure to tune in to Part 2! You will not want to miss a bit of this gorgeous dinner AND the stunning gift sent straight from the skies above that made for a once-in-a-lifetime dinner view. They couldn’t have planned it better if they had tried!
