Long after the wedding day has come and gone and life has moved on, there are indelible aspects of each couple and their special day that are burned into our minds. For Laura Bush & Joshua Freeman’s Meadowood Resort wedding, it was the remarkable purity and depth of their love that most impacted us with a lasting impression. After the wedding morning festivities (see previous post for Bridal Luncheon and Men’s BBQ/Croquet Tourney), Laura & Joshua began to focus on getting ready for the wedding ceremony. The surrounding beauty at Meadowood was simply background notes compared to Laura in her Monique Lhuillier ”Amaranth” dress. This particular dress is one of my all time favorite bridal gowns. The delicacy of the lace with the peek-a-boo in the back creates a stunning and flattering combination, and Laura looked radiant in it. Though Laura and Joshua are both very handsome looking people, what made them glow even more was their love for each other. Once Laura stepped out on her dad’s arm with Joshua waiting at the altar, she never took her eyes off of him. Not even once on the long walk down the aisle. It was a beautiful thing to see these two joined together. This is only part of the story, but you’ll have to wait for the next post to see their amazing dinner and after party!
