Although you may not see many of these events on the blog too often, a great amount of Damion’s photography work is actually working exclusively for corporate clients, event designers, and vendors! We have an entire side of our business (click here for the website!) which specializes in providing detailed photography to capture the work of the event designers & vendors before one guest even arrives. What most people don’t know is that event designers put in hundreds of hours of planning for special events, but often, their work is not documented in a way that showcases their skills. They are often left without skilled photography that actually captures the essence of what they created. There is a reason that they chose that particular napkin or a specific floral design and it all adds up to vision that the designer is trying to articulate in real life. Often that vision does not get captured in images provided. That is why they hire us to come document the event prior to guests, to ensure that their vision is preserved and can be communicated to future clients.
This particular event was for Mohr Davidow Ventures and was held at the Rosewood Sand Hill in Menlo Park, CA. Design and florals were by Blueprint Studios, lighting by Got Light? and catering was provided by Rosewood Sand Hill.
